Volunteers Needed to Staff JLR Booth at Denver Pride Fest June 22-23

Hello!

Pride month is quickly approaching and we are coordinating everything for our Pride Fest booth. It's also the 50th anniversary of Denver Pride, which is super exciting!! Pride Fest is June 22-June 23 and we need volunteers to help set up and staff the booth during event hours, and tear down. The table, chairs, and tent have all been rented and will be set up prior to the event by the event organizers. 

Please sign up to volunteer using this link. It would be fantastic to have at least 2-4 people present for each two hour shift. Denver Pride requires a person be present at the booths for the entirety of each day. 

EVENT DETAILS FOR DENVER PRIDE

SET-UP HOURS:

• Saturday, June 22: 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Volunteer(s) MUST arrive before 9:30am. 

• Site access by vehicle on Saturday morning will be limited to 20 minutes only and strictly monitored. No vehicles will be allowed on-site after 9.30 a.m.

• If you sign up to set up, Linda or Grace will contact you prior to Pride Fest to arrange for pick up of booth materials from JLR. 

EVENT HOURS:

Saturday, June 22: 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. 

Sunday, June 23: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

• Vendors may not close down prior to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday or 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. Doing so will prohibit your participation in future events.

TEAR DOWN HOURS:

Sunday, June 23: 6:30 p.m to 8:30 p.m.

• You MUST remove everything you brought on Sunday night. If you leave anything in your space, you will be charged a minimum $200 fee. 

• Equipment load-out begins at APPROXIMATELY 6:30 p.m. NO VEHICLES MAY ENTER THE PARK BEFORE 6:30 P.M. AND ONLY WHEN THE POLICE DEEM IT SAFE. PLEASE BE PATIENT! 

• Equipment load-out ens at 8:30 p.m. 

• Return JLR materials to the house within a week.
